Heart Shaped Septarian Nodule from Utah. Sparkling crystal filled cavity'  Septarian is formed of calcite (the yellow crystal crystals), Aragonite (the deep brown lines and striations) and Limestone (the outer grey mineral. Septarian is derived from the Latin work septem meaning seven. These nodules were formed 50-70 million years ago in Utah. Mud balls which created this mineral cracked with seven points in every direction creating the crackle pattern. Septarian ensures peace and harmony giving balance to body, mind and spirit.
