The Denver rocks and gems community is one of the strongest of its kind in the United States, making it a perfect host for the 47th annual Denver Gem and Mineral Show Sept. 12-14. And the fun has began!
The festivities began this weekend at the Denver Coliseum with the Denver Coliseum Mineral, Fossil and Gem Show – and Rockology is here with hundreds of mineral specimens. The show runs from Sept. 6-14. The Rockology display can be found in the Coliseum Arena, and if you’re interested in the theme of the Gem and Mineral Show – “Agate” – then definitely stop by the Rockology display. Its extensive inventory of agate specimens is quite impressive.
But Rockology doesn’t stop at agate. They specialize in high quality, hand-selected, rare and extreme mineral specimens. The Rockology inventory features all manner of Brazilian and Uruguayan specimens, including agate slices, slabs, formations and geodes, as well as agate with amethyst slices, geodes, clusters and museum-quality amethyst cathedrals. Rockology’s inventory at the show cannot be found online and there is special show-only pricing.
The Denver Coliseum show attended by Rockology has nearly 250 exhibitors.
Among the attractions at the show will be the filming of an episode of the “Prospectors” reality TV show presented on the Weather Channel. That filming will take place Saturday, Sept. 13.
Parking and admission for the Denver Coliseum Show are free.
