Float Copper from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  Polished and sealed face.  Natural back. Cork bottom for furniture protection. Float Copper is also known as Drift Copper or Butchite.  Drift refers to the glaciers that carry copper nuggets through runoff or rivers.  Float refers to the copper being carried from its original location to the location found. Lastly Butchite is the term for polishing and sealing the specimen.
