Standing Septarian Cube
A solid Septarian Cube has a corner removed to allow the specimen to stand. This presentation allows for a contemporary mineral display. Ornate yellow grey and brown patterning and striations can be seen from all sides. Septarian is derived from the Latin work septem meaning seven. These nodules were formed 50-70 million years ago in Utah. Mud balls which created this mineral cracked with seven points in every direction creating the crackle pattern. The yellow centers are composed of Calcite, the brown lines are Aragonite and the outer grey skin is Limestone. Septarian ensures peace and harmony giving balance to body, mind and spirit.
